pb & jay are characters done for mindspark.com's products, mainly myfuncards.com, with the intention of them having their own line of ecards and other products such as glitter graphics, and other web products and merchandise to follow.

a series of ecards done for myfuncards.com, featuring the lovably teddy squirrel duo. my first shot at a more scripted, story boarded animation and sound editing. script by my colleague robin a. rotman. design, illustration and animation by me.

zwinky cuties

zwinky cuties is a virtual world developed especially for ages 6 and up. co worker chihiro (chihiroart.com) and i designed the characters for it according to a model of a doll iaccap were working on at the time.

american greetings - anabelle lee

anabelle lee was a goth teen character that was created for american greetings for a cyworld, a social network, that as far as i know was never picked up.

kabluey

kabluey is a motion picture by scott prendergast. i was asked to create the main character that is kabluey - a corporate company mascot, as well as the fictional company's logo - this is my favorite version, not the one that was chosen.

gizmode

a brand character for a company that supplies flood and water damages prevention devices. the first character created, the robot, was a wider take on the company's name, but the selected character was more specific towards water damages.

body jewelry

a brand character design for a body jewelry company. 2 versions - one more of a logo type, the devilish belly ring, and the other, a character that can be the "spokeswoman" of the company and be presented repeatedly in different forms throughout the company's site.

dannon university

dannon wanted to create a movie inside their intranet site that would give employees information about professional classes in a fun, non traditional way. a part of the overall design was creating the dannon university students, a boy and a girl. i created characters that would look childlike, with big curious eyes and a round playful physique.

zoombots

a line of t-shirts featuring the zoombots, a group of 5 girls, each with her own personality and characteristics.the concept is based on me and my school friends. featured here are the first 3 created: rona, dana and hillik - myself.

different roads to learning

the objective here was to create a brand character for different roads to learning, a company that specializes in learning tools for autistic children. since autistic kids look like regular kids, it was a hard task. eventually i came up with a sensitive looking yet optimistic and likable boy, with a semi visible guide directing him from behind.

7 designers

7designers are the creative team of ecommercepartners, and were basically created to attract a younger, more creative clientele, for the ecommerce oriented company. for that purpose the 7 illustrated lab design scientists were created, originally for the 7designers site, but also for other marketing materials and goodies such as the 7designers desktops.

the city mouse

the city mouse character was born for the "city mouse" city guide. the mouse was chosen as a character that will lead the reader through the magazine, changing its form to fit every section. the mouse character seems a bit bewildered, as if lost in the big city, & forms empathy in the reader.

sticky chicken

the sticky chicken character was created as a brand character for a site that is a platform for sports fans throughout the u.s. the character needed to be playful and lovable yet tough (not just a chicken!), and of course, show it's sportsmanship. since the site will evolve mainly, but not entirely around soccer, that's the theme that was chosen for the chicken.

kc700

kc700 is a personal project. kc is a robot that was created as a home unit, it's main function is being a housekeeper, but also a baby-sitter and a friend for kids. however, in nyc in the year 3100 things are very different than they were when kc was engineered, and he finds himself alone, having to deal with the harsh reality of life in the city's streets.

alex gopher's ralph & kathy

dj alex gophers single "ralph & kathy" features a dialog between a male & female computer voices. when i heard the song i immediately imagined the characters of ralph - the telephone male character, and kathy - the female i-mac one.

madame buddafly

madame buddafly is a techno dj from connecticut. she wanted to create a character that would convey her playfulness, whimsicalness, and of course, her love for music. i created this funky buddafly chick, and tried to capture madame's personality and appearance. the outcome is presented on madame's homepage and other merchandise.
